Perform, Enjoy, Compose, Create

Throughout the beginning of 2010, the Soundhouse^® Music Alliance web site (http://www.soundhouse.org.au) is in the process of migrating to a new structure using Drupal technology, an open source Content Management System (CMS).

This is an exciting new direction for the Soundhouse^® Music Alliance, moving the Alliance community into a more interactive style of public web presence. The new web site will provide what is generally referred to as a Web 2.0 interface - the opportunity for a range of online public and private user groups and communities, with the ability to share, edit, comment on, contribute to and track information, articles and resources.

At the moment there are 2 main types of soundhouse.org.au web users:

1. An Authenticated User - anyone who chooses to Create a new account on the soundhouse.org.au web site automatically becomes an Authenticated User.
2. sma2web2 members - are users who have enhanced web 2.0 privileges, allowing for a richer soundhouse.org.au web experience. To become a sma2web2 member you need to be an affiliate or member of the Soundhouse^® Music Alliance.
